A Yoga Studio for Fearchasers

We created Fearvana Yoga to help capable, courageous, independent humans learn more about their bodies and minds, restore and renew their spirits, and push their limits now and then, so you ALWAYS know exactly what you’re made of.

And, we do this work in supportive groups so that you can:

  • Receive customized focus and guidance for a yoga practice that sticks and stays.

  • Immerse yourself in the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual balance that the Fearvana way offers.

  • Enjoy a down-to-earth, guts-and-grit, light-hearted, movement practice that meets you exactly where you are each day you visit us in the studio.

  • Care for yourself in community— because even fiercely independent folks need a welcoming place to land, to inquire within yourself, and to even share what you discover.

We provide classes that relax and restore you when life puts you through the wringer.

We ALSO teach you how to harness your power and strength so that you’re stronger, more resilient, and feel utterly confident in your skin— when life is awesome or when it’s not.

Seriously, try everything we offer. Because you’ll FEEL your strength even more in our challenging classes when you also allow yourself to recover, rest, and quiet your mind in our foundational or mediative classes, too.

Above all, we’re judgement-free around here.

That means you can show yourself, be bold in your movements, make mistakes, learn, and discover what yoga is all about. It’s not about the yoga pants, the aesthetics, or what pose you can nail.

Fearvana Yoga is about the journey of self-discovery. It may sound like a cliche, but it’s the truth! So get in here and BE YOU— with us.

what is fearvana?

Fearvana is the union of fear and nirvana. It is the intersection of two seemingly contradictory forces that are in fact complementary. To live the Fearvana way is to seek the oneness that exists in the dualities of life. For the path to enlightenment is not to escape your fears, but to embrace them.

Darkness and light. Pain and pleasure. Suffering and bliss. Fear and Nirvana. They can, and must coexist.

Yoga is the practice of uniting mind, body, and spirit to create inner alignment within the self so that we feel whole and complete. The word yoga itself means “union.” Yoga is stillness, peace, and calm. It is also strength, power, and perseverance. At Fearvana Yoga we integrate these differing styles. In doing so, we offer you the opportunity to experience the awe-inspiring, limitless power of dancing on the edges of life’s dualities.

We invite you to join us in becoming the next greatest version of yourself by practicing a new kind of yoga. We will challenge you, push you, and test you to explore new frontiers within your soul. There in the unknown you will discover your next awakening and experience the pure bliss of Fearvana…

We donate 5% of monthly profits to the Fearvana Foundation.

Seva on fleek.

Fearvana Foundation finds causes and charities in some of the darkest corners of the world that gets the least exposure and funding to give to those in need. Some of our projects encompassed building the first sustainable school in post-war Liberia, empowering sex-trafficked young women in India, or rehabilitating former child soldiers in West Africa. We will pick a cause monthly or bi-monthly where donations will go to a tangible and transparent item or specific purpose. Donations will never go to admin costs, vague, or unknown purposes.
